Computershare have a fantastic opportunity for a SharePoint Administrator to join us as we set up our brand new Global Development Department based out of central Edinburgh.

This position is open to both experienced SharePoint Administrators and graduate candidates.   

You will work within a cross-functional technical team to support the delivery of new or enhanced capabilities to SharePoint and Computershare’s corporate website. You will work closely with stakeholders to implement and perform technical administration of high-quality solutions which deliver value.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build and maintain SharePoint farms, provide SharePoint support and governance

  • Apply technical knowledge and expertise to perform implementation and technical support of the SharePoint based solutions on our global SharePoint environments

  • Support the evaluation and resolution of technical challenges and blockers to minimize their impact on the teams delivery and/or supported products

  • Communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences to share knowledge and ideas

Skills & Experience

  • Experience of SharePoint administration or graduate level experience

  • Knowledge of good practices for design, build, test and deployment of SharePoint solutions

  • Experience of PowerShell and IIS Experience of large-scale SharePoint up-grades is highly desirable

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others

  • Self-motivated and can use own initiative to work with limited guidance to implement innovative solutions

  • Curios and continuous learner – investigates, interprets and grasps new concepts
