Job Summary
The Senior RSS Consultant is responsible for enhancing the performance of the RSS Consultants, daily and weekly tasks are being performed correctly and on-time, maximize output utilizing various metrics, encourage team members, motivate the staff and maintain a harmonious office culture.
Position Responsibilities and Essential Functions
  • Perform all functions and responsibilities of an RSS Consultant, including case docket maintenance, claim and ballot review, handling of creditor inquiries, address research, contract review and other administrative review functions
  • Manage the flow of day-to-day operations
  • Perform administrative quality control review of RSS Consultants' work
  • Delegate tasks according to departmental needs
  • Monitor team performance and report results to VP, Restructuring Support Services
  • Communicate clear instructions and motivate team members
  • Facilitate problem solving and collaboration
  • Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments
  • Provide guidance to the team based on Management direction
  • Maintain healthy group dynamics
  • Work with VP, Restructuring Support Services to obtain necessary resources to support the team’s requirements
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate proprietary software
  • Solid attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite including but not limited to Excel and Outlook
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 years’ experience supervising or managing a team
  • Legal, finance or accounting
Language Ability
Ability to read/interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Ability
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic math, financial concepts, and amortization.
