Computershare Technology Services (CTS) provides global technology and infrastructure support for existing Computershare proprietary software together with a full range of development services for new products.

About the role:

As part of a major transformation project, we are seeking a Framework Developer to work in a team that is currently developing a proprietary enterprise system for global application.  Already live in Australia, the next roll-out is planned for late 2019/2020 for North America.  You will work with Architects and Senior Developers using your C coding and Linux platform knowledge.  In addition to the project work, you will be involved with BAU including support, production fixes and deployments.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain software to the required standards to ensure continual delivery of quality code to production.
  • Provide BAU support across all platforms in Australia. This includes assisting development teams, testers, and production support teams to ensure issues are addressed promptly.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot the extent and/or instances of testing issues.
  • Adhere to the SDLC process for the Linux project and BAU.
  • Work with testers in identification of test scenarios that will need testing.

To ensure your success in this role you will bring:
  • C language experience and exposure to Linux  
  • Proven software development experience through all phases of the SDLC
  • Experience integrating products to interface with multiple applications
  • Ability to complete quality deliverables on time
  • Self-motivated and keen to learn
  • An inquisitive nature
Desired experience:

  • Prior development experience on large system implementation projects
  • OpenVMS experience
  • Exposure to Agile practices
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computing or Information Technology
