About the role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications, you will be a key contributor to the implementation of marketing and communications programs for two of our key business units.

This is a hands-on role, as part of a small team, to deliver a program that includes research and insight, industry partnerships, client and customer service experience and campaign management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a series of research initiatives, working with key stakeholders to develop content and insights
  • Assess new and existing industry partnerships (including sponsorships, memberships and key events) to determine strategic fit and ROI
  • Prepare speeches/presentations and briefing papers for public forums and industry events
  • Coordinate internal and external events
  • Support the development of all internal communications
  • Assist with campaign strategy to support business line objectives
  • Implement multi-channel campaigns including measurement, optimisation and insights
  • Nurture marketing qualified leads to sales for conversion
  • Manage campaign budgets and reconciliations

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience working in B2B marketing and communications, preferably in a large corporate environment
  • Demonstrated experience implementing effective marketing and communication programs, specifically digital, with measurable outcomes
  • Excellent writing including thought leadership and content development for multiple channels and client segments
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing/Communications/Public Relations/Business
  • Innovative and collaborative problem-solving skills
  • Strong eye for detail 
  • Ability to be both strategic and hands-on with strong time and project management skills

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Experience in a similar role in financial services, technology or professional services working across a portfolio of complex products and services
  • Knowledge of automated email platforms specifically Eloqua
  • Experience with digital and content marketing
  • Professional/industry association membership (PRIA, AMI or similar)
