Job Summary:

Responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and managing quality systems activities. Creates an environment where quality systems policies are followed and performance is measured routinely to assure compliance with the directives of all applicable regulatory agencies and internal business standards and policies. Works closely with operations staff to promote a quality culture and ensure an understanding of Quality Systems.


Position Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Assists in translating business needs and use cases into functional, technical, design, system, and test requirements.
  • Converts product requirements into test cases.
  • Generates, communicates, and executes test plans.
  • Designs, documents, and executes manual and automated functional test scripts.
  • Works with team members to log, verify, track and resolve product issues and defects.
  • Prepares and presents product and quality reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing test results.
  • Ensure that changes migrating to production do not have a negative impact.
  • Contributes to the establishment and implementation of QA testing and quality standards, strategies and processes.
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Education:

Required:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Preferred:

  • B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, related discipline or equivalent work experience is preferred.

Experience:

  • Loan servicing or mortgage lending experience a plus.
  • 2   years of varied experience in Information Technology is preferred.
  • 1 years of demonstrated experience in a technical Quality Assurance Analyst position is preferred.
  • Experience implementing service improvement initiatives and communicating effectively with project teams and management.
  • Experience with process development, with the ability to learn and understand technical concepts in order to interpret, document and formalize procedures.
  • Experience with producing high-level functional or operational requirements documentation.
  • Experience working with varied development lifecycles and other software development methodologies including waterfall and agile.
  • Experience with Integrated System testing, QA testing and user acceptance testing is preferred.
  • Intermediate capability with MSWord, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of basic SQL queries.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies is preferred.
  • Certification as a Business Analyst practitioner is preferred.

Language Ability:

Ability to read/comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one-on-one/small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

Mathematical Ability:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
