A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE
The team develops and deploys strategic initiatives for the integrated Governance Compliance, Risk, & Quality Program to support the growing business needs of Computershare Communication Services (CCS). The team helps the development, implementation of policies & controls which include CCS Quality Management System, technology governance, risk mitigation, conformity to established standards, compliance with CPU policies, applicable laws, regulatory and agency guidelines to meet and exceed customer expectations & protect interests of the company, customers, employees and shareholders.
This position supports the monitoring and ongoing maintenance of the CCS Governance, Risk,  Compliance & Quality (GRCQ) program. Our current program covers ISO 9001:2015 Certified Quality Management System, Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Internal Audit, SOC 2/AT-C 205 Compliance, Risk and Control Assessments, Compliance Program, Information Security Management System, and Third Party  Audits. The GRCQ Specialist  provides administrative and investigative support, and general day to day oversight of GRCQ related matters. This includes coordinating of internal & external issues, data gathering, analysis and ensuring effective controls & procedures are successfully implemented.
Primary Accountabilities
  • Helps maintain and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS), Risk Management Register, Training Register, CAPA Program, Document Center, Reporting & Quality related issues Internal Audit Program, SOC 2 controls, and other subprograms within the  GRCQ Program
  • Assists in creating data analysis and dashboards to be used by Department Managers on requested reports using basic quality tools, charting tools or lean/six sigma tools. Assist in evaluating performance data for specified quality, productivity & risk metrics required for management review to identify strengths & weaknesses.
  • Monitors department’s adherence to implemented process or control improvements, risk management requirements in compliance to specific industry regulations and standards such as ISO 9001, AT-C 205, SOC 2, and reports findings to the National Head Quality & Risk
  • Assist the Quality & Risk (GRCQ) Team in addressing quality related issues pertaining to processes, products, customer complaints which may include utilizing problem solving tools & techniques- root cause analysis, determining corrective & preventive actions.
  • Perform internal ISO 9001 & risk related internal audits to prepare teams for readiness for third party audits
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge and use of problem solving tools
  • Ability to communicate clearly and diplomatically
  • Use of Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Detail oriented, fast learner, self-motivated
  • Strong business writing and communication skills
  • Background in ISO 9001 set of standards, Lean/Six Sigma and Quality Engineering Tools and Methodologies. Certification in SOC 2 from AICPA, ISO 9001 , ISO 27001 Certification from ASQ
Preferred
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Technically inclined and computer savvy

Travel Required
It is expected that this position may include travel up to 10% of the time.  This is subject to change based on many factors, including business needs.
 
Language Ability
Ability to read/analyze/interpret business periodicals/ journals/technical procedures/gov. regulations; write reports/business correspondence/procedure manuals; effectively present information/respond to questions from managers/clients/customers/public.
Mathematical Ability
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
