Main Purpose of the Role

The primary function of the Governance Analyst (GA) is to provide administrative support to CGS’ premium client base by undertaking manual data migrations into the GEMS system. These migrations will initially take the form of temporary fixed-scope engagements, though this may change over time as the role becomes established.
In the longer term, the GA will use their knowledge and expertise to advise clients on the development of workflows, and tackling challenges using increasingly sophisticated solutions.
Note: Occasional national and international travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities

•Undertake manual transfer of governance and compliance records from third party databases
•Responsible for configuration of client sites
•Scope work and develop estimates for consultancy and engagements
•Create and configure output templates
•Become a key point of contact for clients
•Work with colleagues internationally to ensure globally-standardised service is delivered
•Assist in the testing of new software releases as needed

Essential Skills, Experience and Competencies

•Meticulous attention to detail and an aptitude for problem-solving
•Confidence to set and manage client expectations
•Interface effectively with client project stakeholders, technical resources and end-users
•The ability to work in fast-paced technical environment and to manage multiple engagements with competing deadlines.
•Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
•Detailed understanding and experience with MS Office applications

Desirable

•Knowledge of corporate governance issues
•Multi-lingual in a European language, especially German

Education / Experience

•Demonstrable interest in governance issues and / or company administration
•University degree in a relevant discipline; or several years related experience.
