The Global Head of Technology Risk will establish and lead the second line’s global Technology Risk Program and provid  second line of defence oversight and leadership over all Computershare’s Technology Risk working in partnership with the CIO, CISO and CTS leadership team. We are looking for an executive who can provide clear and consistent leadership of the Global Technology Risk Program to establish and oversee the second line of defence for technology risks globally. 
You will also provide a holistic view of Technology and risks to senior management and providing where appropriate robust and effective challenge to the first line of defence comprising CTS and business-aligned IT, whilst also becoming a trusted and where necessary challenging partner to the CIO, CISO and Technology leadership group.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To establish a Global Technology Risk Program across all the businesses and functions of Computershare.
  • To lead, drive and embed global best practice, global consistency and pragmatic management of Technology Risk across Computershare globally.
  • Work with the various businesses and functions globally to ensure consistency of Tech Risk approach and to identify and address any gaps.
  • Establish Technology Risk Governance.
  • Stakeholder management – business, customers, Board, Global Risk,  Legal & Compliance, Internal Audit etc.
  • Work as part of a global team  - strategic thinking, relationship building  and communication.
Required skills:
  • Experience of Operating at Senior and Executive Level
  • People Management and Leadership/ Able to build a team
  • Senior Risk Management Experience
  • Technology Risk Management
  • Experience in a global organisation
  • Information Security Experience
  • Knowledge of Financial Markets & Operational Risk understanding in those markets
  • Understanding of the Three Lines of Defence
  • Risk Concepts and Processes – Risk, Management,  Issue Management , Risk and Control Self-Assessment, Change Risk
  • Senior IT management experience.
  • Understanding of Key Risk Indicators and experience of Risk Appetite.
  • Understanding of current market focus and trends – automation/robotics,  cyber crime.
Essential Experience:
10-15 years’ experience across all risk types.  At least 5 years in a senior role covering Technology Risk
Driving a global Technology Risk or Technology Operational Risk Program
Experience of both building a technology risk  function (transformation) and embedding the operation (Business as usual).
Desired experience:
Experience having lead a Technology Risk Program highly desirable
Working in a global organisation during periods of significant business change/transformation.
