Job Summary:
Under general supervision, this function provides support to Investor Services; validates/approves financial date on forms output.  Forms include but not limited to tax forms, dividend statements and checks as well as stock option sales.  Attention to detail and strong communication skills are paramount to the function along with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Position Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
  • Review/validate/approve dividend statements, checks, tax forms and stock option sales – 100% accuracy.
  • Escalate Issue/discrepancies uncovered during the review process
  • Conduct follow up on issues to ensure correction and prevent missed deadlines
  • Communicate verbally/written with other departments.
  • Document lapses in the QA review process and submit root cause reports for errors uncovered for process improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Preferred:
  • Previous hands on experience in a metrics-driven environment where there were established productivity and quality standards
Education and Experience:
Required:
  • Working in a team environment
  • High school Diploma of GED
    Preferred:
  • Experience working in a metrics driven environment
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a transfer agency or financial institution
  • 2-4 years college degree preferred but not required.
Language Ability:
Ability to read/comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one-on-one/small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Mathematical Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
