Job Summary
Under general supervision, responsible for every aspect of dividend processing:  Setup, calculation, build, balancing, funding and check release.
Position Responsibilities and Essential Functions
  • Processes Dividend within SCRIP based on instructions received insuring all parameters are accurate and the company is in balance.  Verifies accuracy upon completion of the calculation, balancing both share and cash.
  • Complete Funding letter for the Client and confirm that all funds are received within expected time frames.
  • Build dividend onto SCRIP, ensure that all money and output files are created within the dividend are accurate and balanced back to the job.  
  • Ensure that all money movement and output files are released within standard.
  • Continuously work with Client Services, CCS and other internal contacts to ensure 100% accurate and timely delivery of dividend. 
  • Resolve any issues related to Cash out of balance with the Reconciliation Team
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Computer Skills
 
  • Essential computer skills include regular use of a computer, including the ability to type, utilize a mouse, and read information from a computer screen or monitor.
  • Proficient in SCRIP, and Excel.
 
Education and Experience
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two  years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 
Language Ability
 
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Reasoning Ability
 
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
 
Mathematical Ability
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
