CTS Oceania Infrastructure provides architecture, implementation and support for all the systems and networks that our products and services run on in the Oceania region.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and a detail orientated Site Services Engineer with strong customer service skills to join our team based in Abbotsford, Melbourne.

The ideal candidate will be a switched-on PC-oriented person with experience in a similar enterprise environment. You should have a sound understanding of desktop, notebook and thin client hardware, operating systems including Windows Active Directory and general business applications in a centralised environment.

ITIL qualifications and Desktop Virtualisation experience will be looked upon favourably.

We put significant focus on customer service so you must be comfortable in a customer facing role and have patience, empathy and an ability to understand our customer needs. This role may require some interstate travel.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Handling 2nd and 3rd level desktop support
  • Assist with 1st level server, network and voice support
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Provide BAU network, wireless, remote access, printer and mobile device support
  • Work across the ITIL framework on escalated issues from the Service Desk, keeping within predetermined SLA’s
  • Work on allocated Tickets through the HP Service Manager ticketing tool
  • Provide excellent customer service to various stakeholders across the wider business

Essential Skills Required:

  • Previous 2nd/3rd  support experience in an enterprise environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems in Windows Desktop environments
  • Strong written skills with the ability to accurately and thoroughly document procedures and processes
  • Demonstrated experience in Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, Desktop Deployment, Windows Server and  application delivery
  • Strong customer service and attention to detail


  • Understanding and exposure to ITIL environment
  • Exposure to Citrix XenDesktop / XenApp based Desktop Virtualisation support in an enterprise environment
  • Exposure to supporting Network and Telephony systems
  • Microsoft, ITIL & Citrix certifications are advantageous, but not mandatory
