Here at Computershare Loan Services we have an exciting opportunity for experienced Complaint Handler's to join our Skipton office within the Customer Response Team. This opportunity would be ideal for someone looking to progress their career in a business area which offers a varied workload, development and allows ownership of complaints.
By using your initiative and working proactively you will exceed customer expectations, investigating all the facts thoroughly and in a fair and consistent manner, whilst following Company and regulatory rules and guidelines.
What will you be doing?
As part of the Customer Response Team you will be responsible for complaint activities within CLS you will hold a crucial role in establishing positive relationships with customers to ensure all reportable complaints are resolved quickly and effectively, with a clear focus on reaching a fair customer outcome.
You will provide exemplary complaint resolution and customer service to our customers, instilling customer satisfaction to avoid repeat complaints.
You will also:
  • Engage successfully with various operational areas to undertake a full investigation of the complaint, identifying opportunities to improve processes and service delivery through effective root cause.
  • Calculate appropriate levels of compensation/remediation in line with mandates.
  • Independently manage a caseload of complaints, ensuring all activities are completed within regulatory timescales/Client SLAs.  
So, what are we looking for?
You will have excellent verbal communication skills, both over the phone and face to face and you will be able to achieve deadlines and prioritise work according to conflicting demands. You will also have:
  • The desire to work and manage time effectively & independently in a challenging and at times pressurised environment
  • Demonstrate exceptional skills in letter writing with a strive for 100% quality
  • Strong investigation, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be able to handle complex, emotive issues in a professional manner
  • You will have previous experience in a Complaint Handling role, ideally within a Financial Services environment but we will consider other industry experience

The start date for this role is Monday 5th November where you will join a 4 week induction and training programme to ensure you are fully prepared and equipped with the right skills to perform the role. Please note that the training will be based out of our Crossflatts office, just down the road from Skipton.
