Main Purpose of the Role


This role is for maternity cover for the Head of Plans, Ireland and will cover a minimum period of 9 months with scope to extend subject to successful delivery of an active new business pipeline and new business revenue. There is also scope for this role to be full/part time with the option of flexible working.


Accountable for identifying new and developing new and existing business development opportunities through the full business development pipeline process. The role will be responsible building and maintaining relationships with prospect clients and generating new business revenue across the full spectrum of Irish based clients from SME’s, Private and large Multi-national companies. 


The role also requires ability to navigate within the Plans Industry and the Computershare organisation effectively at all levels while being an ambassador for Plans Ireland internally and externally.



Key Accountabilities

  • Build and maintain a new business pipeline containing genuine new revenue opportunities and quantify the potential monetary value.
  • Develop external networks, build trust and keep abreast of trends in the market, using this for self-development and continuously feeding into the new business pipeline.
  • Manage RFP process from instigating/receipt of RFP, production/delivery of RFP response, presentations and co-ordination across the business to ensure appropriate support is obtained at appropriate times. Standard suite of products to be promoted.
  • Manage/Complete the Plans EMEA Deal Review process for Plans Ireland.
  • Manage the contractual process ensuring all new business is governed by a client signed legal agreement.
  • Lead profitable fee negotiations requesting senior/business support when required.
  • Review Plans Ireland marketing collateral in liaison with Computershare’s marketing and EMEA Plans colleagues.
  • Coach and train Client Managers on our products, services and industry trends.
  • Design, develop and deliver professional presentations both internally and externally.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant CPU policies through completion of Customer Due diligence/AML procedures/New Business On-boarding.

  • Significant experience of Stakeholder management
  • Institute of Chartered Secretaries Association (ICSA) qualified (desirable)
