About the role:

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the PMO’s program of works associated with products and technology solutions for our customers, from initial scoping through to operational implementation.  

Reporting to the PMO Manager, you will be responsible for workshop facilitation and requirements gathering, system configuration, requirement specifications and the development and documentation of business rules and processes.  Additionally, the Business Analyst will provide significant input into the test planning and test execution programs as well as supporting operational teams during the implementation and post go-live periods.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the business analysis planning for all client projects, including requirements approvals, changes to scope or solution and performance
  • Identify stakeholders and obtain information to form requirements
  • Analyse and prioritise requirements to ensure meet objectives and client needs 
  • Identify and manage changes to requirements including impact assessments
  • Propose solutions approach, assess and validate against business needs
  • Work with developers and technical architects to deliver system changes
  • Support testing phases and implementation of solutions

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in the retail utilities market with, ideally, knowledge of the Customer Service and Customer Operations functions and customer life cycles
  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • An autonomous and flexible approach 

Desired qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computing, Business, Information Systems to equivalent
  • Business Analyst certification, i.e. ECBA, CCBA
