Mid-Market Corporate Issuer Sales Representative – Northeast Region

Computershare is looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to drive growth in our Northeast Region. This key territory encompasses several metropolitan areas including New York, Philadelphia and Boston, home to many current and prospective clients. In this role, you will be responsible for sales of our wide-range of issuer services to mid-size Public Companies and Private Companies with a focus on their essential corporate regulatory, compliance and governance services. These services include transfer agency, entity management, registered agent, board portals, cap table, equity plan services and more.
You will join an entrepreneurial team with experienced professionals in pricing, sales operations, lead generation and marketing as well as a nationwide sales team. 
In this role, you will be accountable for driving new sales in your territory, partnering with Marketing, Sales Operations and Sales Management to develop and execute an effective sales plan. You will ultimately be measured on the effectiveness of sales metrics such as pipeline growth, closed sales and cross-selling of products.
  • Develop market and product expertise to support selling efforts
  • Execute against identified and qualified prospects in your sales territory
  • Identify new opportunities through networking, conferences and marketing campaigns
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline to meet or exceed quota now and in the future
  • Develop deep understanding of competitors’ services and Computershare differentiation
  • Effectively present our solutions to clients via remote channels and occasionally in-person
  • Deliver product demonstrations aligned to client needs
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing
  • Maintain CRM info on a daily basis
  • Support the transition of clients to the on-boarding team
  • Identify follow-on sales opportunities with existing clients
  • Opportunity to work remotely on a regular basis or in a Computershare regional office
  • At least five years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in related financial services
  • Direct, or comparable, experience with compliance, governance and regulatory needs of corporations
  • Ability to develop effective sales strategies to achieve quota objectives
  • Track record of exceeding quota and selling a broad range of services
  • Proven ability to succeed in a high-velocity sales environment
  • Tech savvy with ability to communicate both full-service and SAAS solutions
  • Strong presentation and product demonstration skills both in-person and on the phone
  • Experienced negotiating pricing and contractual terms
  • Professional, creative and collaborative; results-driven while contributing to the growth of the team  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, related study or equivalent experience

Word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, Internet, e-mail, multimedia, and CRM software is required.
Transfer agent experience a plus
Equity plans management a plus
Governance services knowledge a plus
Travel Required:
It is expected that this position may include travel up to 25% of the time. This is subject to change based on many factors, including business needs.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Ability:
Able to apply general business principals related to financial analysis, pricing and understanding client business models. 
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
